My Story – Key Phases
Birth, Dreams, and the Clash with Reality
I was born in 1997 in a small village called Ghurisha in Birbhum district, West Bengal. I am the fourth child in my family. Although we were not financially well-off, my parents firmly believed that education is the foundation of a better future.
From an early age, my dream was to become a scientist. I grew up inspired by legends like Meghnad Saha, Jagadish Chandra Bose, C. V. Raman, and Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray. I dreamed of studying at institutions like Harvard, Oxford, MIT, and Stanford, and of conducting research in the same laboratories where Newton, Einstein, Rutherford, and Niels Bohr once worked.
But one question kept haunting me:
How can a student from a rural school reach those global institutions?
There were no answers. No guidance. No roadmap.

Wrong Choices, Hard Realizations
I passed my Secondary Examination in 2012 and Higher Secondary in 2014. Then came the most confusing phase of my life — choosing a career.
With no proper exposure or guidance, I followed what people around me were doing. I completed my Graduation in Mathematics, followed by Post-Graduation, and then B.Ed.
The reality was harsh. I had degrees — but no clear career.
Turning Point
I decided to pursue research. After years of disciplined preparation and hard work, I qualified GATE, SET, and CSIR-JRF, and secured admission for research at Presidency University.
That was when a deeper realization struck me — Thousands of students were struggling in the same darkness I once faced.
The Beginning of a Mission
I made a promise to myself — I would not let others repeat the mistakes I made due to lack of guidance.
For the past 7 years, I have been traveling to villages, schools, and coaching institutes, guiding students from Class 8–12 and college.
I have counselled 8,000+ students, helping them understand:
The realities of life and careers
The limitations of degrees without direction
How to plan a career based on interest, ability, and environment
To strengthen my ability to support students mentally as well as practically, I completed a Master’s degree in Counseling & Stress Management from Jadavpur University.
